As winter nears, it’s essential the tires are properly filled with air for maximum performance and traction. The Alfa Romeo tire pressure guidelines are outlined in the vehicle user manual of each model. You can also get your tires serviced at our service center in Helfman Alfa Romeo.

Tire Pressure Guidelines

The tire pressure may vary depending on the model and year. For the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2021 model year, for example, the suggestion is 35 psi for the front tires and 32 psi for the rear tires. For the 2022 model, however, the recommendation is 35 psi for both front and rear tires. As you can see, the guidelines vary. Other factors may also alter the optimum psi.

Weather conditions

Tires steadily lose pressure, at about a rate of roughly one psi for every 10-degree drop in temperature. With that in mind, it’s okay to fill the tires three psi beyond the recommended psi to accommodate the winter weather. Likewise, the summer heat causes the air inside the tires to expand, so it’s okay to fill the tires about three psi below the recommendation for this season.

Maximum Vs Recommended Psi

While you can find the tire information on the tire sidewall, the psi listed on the rubber is the maximum and not the recommended psi. The recommended psi can be found in the vehicle user manual or on the driver’s side of the door jamb. Always follow the recommendation and not the maximum psi.
