If you've just purchased or leased a 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio from our dealership, you probably want to do everything that you can to take good care of it. That means sticking to a proper maintenance schedule, and the expert mechanics here at Helfman Alfa Romeo of Houston will tell you exactly what needs to be done and when.

Alfa Romeo Maintenance Milestones

  • 10,000 miles: At 10,000 miles, or after one year, there are a variety of service tasks that have to get done. At this point our mechanics will:
  1. Rotate tires
  2. Change oil and oil filters
  3. Check battery's charge
  4. Top off fluids
  5. Examine all exterior lights, including hazards, headlamps, and turn signals
  6. Use diagnostic tools to check the engine control system and brake discs

These small things can keep your car running smoothly and safely.

  • 20,000 miles: Now's a good time for all of the above services again, along with a brake fluid flush. The mechanics at our Alfa Romeo service center will also usually replace the cabin air filter at this time. This part helps keeps dust, dirt, and other irritants from the road from getting inside of your vehicle.
  • 30,000 miles: This is a good time for an engine air filter replacement. This helps protect your engine from damage and wear.
  • 40,000 miles: At this point, our mechanics will check your serpentine belt to see if it's due for a replacement. At this mileage we want to begin keeping an eye on it.
  • 60,000 miles: You may need new spark plugs at this point. This help provide the “spark” that your car needs to start up, so without quality plugs you're not going anywhere.
  • 80,000 miles: Since the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is an all-wheel drive model, we'll want to check up on the drivetrain and the transfer case at this point.
