If you're ever shopped for a pre-owned car here at Helfman Alfa Romeo of Houston, you may have noticed that we have some certified pre-owned Alfa Romeo cars. If you're wondering what the difference is between pre-owned and certified pre-owned (CPO) cars, we can answer any questions you may have.

Which Cars Can Be Called "Certified?"

Our Alfa Romeo CPO program has strict criteria for which pre-owned cars can be called "certified." An Alfa Romeo vehicle must be at most five years old and have fewer than 50,000 miles on its odometer. If the car doesn't meet those parameters, it cannot be a certified pre-owned car.

Inspection Process

If the car is new enough and doesn't have too many miles on its odometer, it needs to pass a comprehensive inspection with flying colors. This 175-point inspection covers basically every part of the vehicle, and any detected problems are immediately fixed so the car can return to “like new” condition.

CPO Perks

Certified pre-owned Alfa Romeo cars also come with additional features that a typical pre-owned car might not offer. For example, you get a CARFAX® history report, access to a roadside assistance program, and even a rental car allowance for when your car needs to be serviced.

Our certified vehicles also come with warranty coverage. If the existing warranty is still in effect, it carries over to you as the new owner. Additionally, this certified pre-owned warranty kicks in when the previous warranty expires, extending coverage for another year or 50,000 miles.

Certified pre-owned Alfa Romeo cars are some of the best vehicles in the industry, and they come with plenty of extra benefits that give drivers additional peace of mind. Talk to our Alfa Romeo dealers in Houston and ask about these dependable pre-owned models today!
